ククリコロネーションラムは、
1974年にビレンドラ・ビル・ビクラム・シャー・デヴ国王の戴冠式を記念して作られました。
最初のボトルはビレンドラ国王に献上され、今日まで続く伝統の始まりとなりました。



ククリとは、「く」の字のように大きく湾曲した刀身が特徴の刃物で、
ネパールのグルカ兵が使用する戦闘用のナイフとしても有名です。

ネパールの山岳民族の方をまとめて「グルカ」と呼びます。
グルカ兵とは主に、マガール族・グルン族・ライ族・リンブー族などの
山岳民族から構成される戦闘集団のことを指します。
勇猛果敢で誇り高い民族と言われています。

そんなネパールの誇り・勇気・優雅さを象徴するククリの形を模したユニークなボトルに詰められています。

In 1974, amidst the grandeur of Nepal’s majestic landscapes, a moment of history was etched—the coronation of King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev. A ruler beloved for his deep connection to his people, his ascension called for a tribute worthy of the occasion. Thus, Coronation Khukri Rum was born.

Meticulously crafted to honour Nepal’s indomitable heritage, Coronation Khukri Rum is more than just a spirit—it is a testament to tradition.
